Alyssa Huffman Youth Sunday School Leader
Hi! My name is Alyssa Huffman, I am 17 years old and a Junior n high school. I love trying new things and really putting myself out there. I have known Jesus all of my life, and recently felt a calling to start serving in my church and community.
During my childhood, I always remember that Sunday school was so much fun. It taught me so many things about God. I want to be a part of children's lives like my teachers were to me.
Iva Brown Adult Bible Study Leader
Let me introduce my self--My name is Iva Brown. I am the wife of Gerald Brown, mother of Gerry & Kyla Brown and Leddy & Kami Brown. We have 7 grand children and 2 great-grandchildren. Yes, I am getting old, But the one thing that never gets old is the Word of God!
I have learned that no matter what we need, the Word of God has it! I love to encourage people to read the Word of God with fresh eyes! Not what the preacher said, not what you heard when you were young, but the freshness of the revelation of God! Trust me, Psalm 119:105 says "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path"
God guides and directs us through His Word! Try Him! Trust Him! He will never let you down!
I have often said, the only thing that we can take to heaven with us, is other souls! And that is what Fire and Wind ministries is about! That is what is in our hearts!
Gerald and I left a church we had supported for 23 years because of this conviction in our hearts!
It is real! It is good! It is God!
You will be welcomed at Fire and Wind ministries no matter what your past says you are, no matter what your present says you are. We only want what God says you are!
